Richard began working at a leading Yorkshire independent firm in 1997, qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2000. He specialised in both Personal Taxes and Employment Taxes during his years at the firm, before it became part of the Azets group in late 2021.
Richard heads up our Employer Solutions services in the Yorkshire region, helping businesses navigate increasingly complex Employment Taxes legislation, challenges in attracting and retaining key staff, and the shifting landscape of working habits.
His specialist areas include collaborating with business owners on tax efficient cash extraction planning, and supporting businesses in areas such as benefits and expenses, salary exchange and staff rewards, as well as employment status and HMRC compliance matters.
