Hi, I’m Adam, Candidate Experience Manager at Azets. When I’m not busy helping promoting our careers at Azets, I enjoy going on adventures with my partner Rebecca, and our son, Jonah to unusual and wonderful places. One of our most memorable trips was seeing Mount Fuji in Japan (apparently it's good luck to see it without it's ice cap!).
My Role at Azets
My goal is to provide those considering a career at Azets with as much information as possible about our culture and ways of working here. One project I’m particularly proud of is our employee research project. This now helps us communicate what to expect when working at Azets.
In this role, I have the privilege of interacting with a diverse range of candidates and internal teams, each bringing unique skills and perspectives. It's incredibly rewarding to see how our efforts in promoting a positive candidate experience translate into successful hires who thrive in our supportive and dynamic workplace.
The Importance of Finding the Right Culture for You
The best piece of advice I can give to anyone looking or applying for a new role is to place as much importance on the culture and ways of working as you would on any other reason for joining a new company. While financial and other benefits are incredibly important, the right cultural fit can significantly impact your job satisfaction and overall wellbeing.
Take the time to get to know your managers, colleagues, and the company culture when considering a career move. This effort can lead to a more fulfilling and harmonious work experience. For instance, during my initial days at Azets, I made it a point to have coffee chats with various team members. These conversations helped me understand the collaboration, ways of working and supportive nature of our workplace, which played a crucial role in my decision to join and stay with Azets.

The flexibility here has allowed me to balance my professional responsibilities with my personal life. Additionally, the autonomy I have in my role empowers me to make decisions and feel pride in what I do.
The understanding and support I receive from my colleagues and managers is overwhelming. Since being at Azets and experiencing the culture, reinforces my belief in the importance of a workplace that values and supports its employees' personal lives.
