Jonathan is a partner in the audit team and works with businesses of all sizes from start-ups to larger group and international audit clients. He also acts for a range of larger overseas corporate clients and has assisted them in setting up their UK operations.
Jonathan works closely with his clients to fully understand their business and the environment in which they operate. This includes considering external factors that can impact on their business and helping them manage the many risks that their business faces. He proactively works with the Directors to understand and develop their strategic objectives for their business, including assisting them with implementing a plan of action to achieve their goals.
He also has a specialism in acting for Regulated entities, in particular Financial Conduct Authority Audits including CASS 5 (Insurance) & CASS 7 (Client money rules) reporting & Solicitor Accounts Rules audits.
Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) at a practice in central London in 1997 and joined Azets in Guildford in 2001, becoming a partner in 2013.
